As an engineer, my big beef with lawyer/politician/judges is that they rush to judgement.
As an engineer, I was taught over and over to get my facts straight before I attempted a solution.
Politicians don't aren't even concerned that they don't have the facts. Or perhaps their facts are only the poll numbers.
There is no government database where people can enter their complaints about government. There is no database for police that people can use. There is no database for the courts that people can use. There is no database for reporting flaws in the laws. Government legislates without knowing anything except the poll numbers.
