Hiding your bigotry, by trying to reduce it as only being PC, is called minimizing.
Still, it is not an excusable offensive, and is deemed derogatory by most believers of Islam, (Muslims).

Of course it is derogatory...as in holding in low esteem. I certainly hold Islamic terrorists in low esteem.
