Glad no one on this forum does any of those things.

Less than 1% of replies are in the top three.

I think the width of the slice represents the percent of the replies.

Here's a "top of the pyramid" contribution from a typical Obama fan.

Prag,

Where's that reply/video on the pyramid?

Image

It's not an ad hom in that you aren't attacking Kevin. It is an ad hom in that you are distracting from the argument.

The video IS propaganda and probably name calling - except that Obama is the recipient.

It is funny and a little bit true. It is sarcasm and mildly entertaining to me. Others will go BS.

It is racial. It is name calling by innuendo.

It shows where politics is on that triangle.

I like the lady in the video because she has a great rack and is a straight shooting negro who makes no effort at "acting white".

Good satire does not have to be "all truth". But it has to have an element of truth to be good satire. This one has it IMO.

That folks need to be out working to pay for her and her children's healthcare instead of watching her video is one.

I actually believe that folks who are working will pay the cost of ObamaCare for folks who are not working. That is one of the elements of truth in the satire, which is what makes it good satire.

I agree with your statement there, but I do not think that was the message of the video.
The video - IMO - was to inflame conservatives, and portray blacks as racists, who laugh in the face of the hard working people by bragging that they are living off of the taxpayers. I'm sure there are such people, but to inflame, hyperbole is used - and, by your reaction, quite successfully.
Actually it's more a lampoon than satire, but don't let me quibble - the point was basically humor, with backbite.
If you raise the image projected to a typical stereotype, you have been played as by propaganda. Were you played?

The video is not only propaganda, it is effective propaganda because of the element of truth in it.

It's effectiveness comes from the desire of those who WANT to believe it's typical, and repeat it to proport such.
But it's not typical, it's marginal at best, and even then innocent children are still being helped, and that's good.
